Entries are now open online in your QWA portal for the 2020 Qld Masters Championships + Oly in the Outback.
This is a unique competition, where lifters of all ages from across Queensland are invited to participate!
Hosted by Saints Weightlifting Club and the Qld Weightlifting Association.
Entries close midnight Sunday 26th January, 2020.
When: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th March
Where: Miles High School MPA, Pine Street, Miles.
Miles is approximately 4 hrs drive from Brisbane, situated between Dalby and Roma. Carpool or hire a minibus for your club! Buses travel to Miles daily. Flights to Roma or Toowoomba available.
The competition will start with higher age categories on Saturday, through to younger age categories Sunday. Open age lifters in Oly in the Outback will compete on Sunday. Final schedule will be released after entries close at the end of January.
- All Masters competitors receive FREE entry into Oly in the Outback competition.
- Medals, trophies and prize money are on offer for various age categories in Oly in the Outback.
- All competitors will also receive a souvenir Oly in the Outback Coffee mug to cherish forever!
- Full canteen daily with BBQ. Coffee van also on site daily.
We encourage you to get your entries in ASAP and get organised for your trip to the country!

With the competition being held at the Miles High School MPA, please note that School/Govt Regulations apply: strictly no alcohol, pets/animals or smoking permitted inside school grounds.
Miles Bowling Club is across the road from the High School and Miles has plenty of pubs for after hours meals/refreshments.
