Become an Official




HOW DO I BECOME A TECHNICAL OFFICIAL?

STEP 1
Complete the Club Online Referee Course. The course can be accessed through your QWA account. It’s free and takes approximately 30 minutes. If you do not have a QWA account, you can create one for $35 per year for a Technical Official. Go to Member Login on the website then click on Create an Account

STEP 2
Apply for a Blue Card. All volunteers are required to hold a Blue Card as per the QLD government regulation. It takes up to 28 days for your application to be processed. It’s free for volunteers. Only teachers and police are exempt but can apply for an exemption card. Please see the link for more information
