April News

Hope everyone had a chance for some R & R over Easter as we get ready to gear up for a very busy weightlifting period ahead.

Registrations for the QWA Club Development Workshop on Saturday 3rd June being held in conjunction with the 2023 QWA AGM close online today.

This will be a great networking opportunity for all of our clubs as we work together to grow weightlifting in Queensland.

You will find the registration form here:

Regional clubs (where possible) will be entitled to a minimum of one funded Club representative. Funding will cover travel & accommodation only. If it becomes likely that there will be unexpended funds this may be extended to 2 representatives.

Those clubs situated closer to the workshop location are invited to nominate two representatives.

  • How to incorporate – case study from Noosa Barbell Club. Q & A time with a panel of reps from other incorporated clubs;
