As our Junior & U23 athletes work through their final preparations for the Queensland Hub event of the AWF National U23 & Junior Championships in Townsville next week we take this opportunity to celebrate the successes of our recent State U23 & Junior Championships held at Noosa Weightlifting Club in Noosaville.
59 entries, numerous personal best lifts, and new State records all went into the mix to start the 2021 QWA Weightlifting year off with a bang.
Best U23 male lifter & Most Improved U23 male lifter – Kyle Evans (Milton Weightlifting Club)
Best Junior male lifter – Ryven Ewing (Bounce Weightlifting Club.
Most improved Junior male lifter – Taj Marsh (Noosa Barbell Club)
