30 QWA member athletes have entered the 2021 National Senior Championships – an online event with a SEQ Hub at Cougars Weightlifting Club, Chandler, and a NQ Hub at Thunder Barbell Club, Townsville.
The competition qualifiers were made up of 19 females and 11 males. All of these athletes will play their part in the outcome of the Queensland results. We wish them all the best with their final preparations for the event. A reminder that all athletes need to complete Sport Integrity Australia Anti-doping online training and submit evidence to the QWA before competing in this event.

The QWA has not appointed any team coaches for this online event. Instead personal coaches will be looking after their own individual lifters. A review of the team management model used for this event will be conducted after the event to inform planning for next years online National U15 & Youth Championships.
