Unfortunately, COVID has recently reminded us that it is still around, and is quite keen to keep disrupting our lives. This has meant that the AWF have had to make changes to the National calendar of events for 2021. This of course then has had a trickle-down effect to the QWA 2021 Calendar. We thank you for your patience with this process.
The QWA wish to advise that the attached 2021 Calendar https://www.qwa.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Revised-2021-Calendar_v2.pdf is now to be adopted. The qualification periods for QWA events largely remains the same. Please find the updated dates below.
Qualifying periods and standards:
Q U15 & Youth State Championships: n/a
Q Junior & U23 State Championships: 1 June 2020 – 6 February 2021 – J Grade
Q State Senior Championships: 30 August 2020 – 25 April 2021 – I Grade
Q Masters: n/a – 15kg minimum 1stattempt.
