The undoubted highlight of a Tier 1 Scholarship is the ‘money can’t buy’ opportunity offered to the Scholarship Holder – being personally mentored by a Member of the Sport Australia Hall of Fame. Previous Mentors have included Steven Bradbury OAM, Nat Cook OAM, Susie O’Neill AM, Louise Sauvage OAM, Kevin Sheedy AO. This has delivered, in many cases, a profound impact on our past and present Scholarship Holders. Successful Tier 1 Scholarship applicants are traditionally presented at the annual Induction & Awards Gala however, given current circumstances, an alternative presentation event will be organised and discussed with each successful Tier 1 Scholarship applicant directly.
