What a fantastic weekend it was over the 13-14 July at Milton Weightlifting Club with 75 athletes who had achieved a minimum of a Qld State Senior qualification competing to qualify for or further cement their qualification for National Seniors to be held in Sydney on the 31 August – 1 September.
There were a huge amount of new PB’s set and a number of State & National level records were rewritten across a variety of age groups. Find all the results here:

With qualification standards for Nationals this year being scaled up we have seen a significant decrease in Queensland team registrations for the event. 11 athletes – 6 females and 5 males have nominated to compete. We wish them all the best with their preparations for the event!
